CWCS Site Overview:


The CWCS Website consists of the primary components you see on the navigation bar on the left. A breakdown and summary of the site follows:

  • What is the CWCS? - Overview of the purpose of the Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy, along with Federal guidelines established for the CWCS.
  • Hawaii's CWCS - The final draft submitted to the National Advisory Acceptance Team as well as explanation of how the final draft was developed can be found on this page.
  • Species of Greatest Conservation Need - An explanation of how Hawaii's Species of Greatest Conservation Need were selected and fact sheets outlining the distribution and abundance, habitats, threats, and conservation and research actions for each species is available.
  • Get Involved - Information on how you can become involved.
  • Links and Partners- A list of links to relevant websites and information.
