Vanpooling

Vanpooling is like carpooling, but on a larger scale. Some vanpools are sponsored by employers or are organized informally among friends. The DOT's newest statewide program, Vanpool Hawaii, offers 7-15 passenger vans to groups, and can facilitate matches for commuters traveling to the same area. For more information, call Vanpool Hawaii at 596-VANS.
